Women’s Health and Wellbeing – from within

Women's Health

A woman’s natural way of being is to nurture. As such a woman cannot truly offer all that she has to offer to the world unless she nurtures herself first.

As a woman it is common to put other people and the demands of life on top of the list. To look after and care for everyone else – family, friends, children, cats and dogs – attend to it all and multitask at the expense of her own health and wellbeing. Life can become busy with so much to do, that she can easily put herself, her health and wellbeing last on the list, and never get there.

Self-care, self-nurturing and self-love are often perceived as selfish in our society. Feeling fragile and tender is often seen as being weak. But is it really? Could it be possible that we cannot truly offer another love unless we have established self-love first?

As a woman returns to a way of living where she honours and offers herself tenderness and care, she can naturally share these qualities with others and attend to the demands of life without losing herself nor accumulate the exhaustion, overwhelm and hardness that so many women feel daily.

As a woman gradually sees and lets go of the many ideals and beliefs around what she believes a woman should do or look like –  the good mother, the great friend, the gorgeous wife and/or the successful business woman – , she is able to reconnect with her essence and who she truly is. There is a natural beauty at the core of every woman – before she starts to do anything.

Your daily deeds and chores do not add up to your worthiness, for the loveliness was there at the birth of the day.

Serge Benhayon – Esoteric Teachings and Revelations

Illnesses and stresses commonly suffered by women today include breast cancer, polycystic ovarian syndrome, depression, endometriosis, irregular periods or absence of period (amenorrhea), exhaustion and anxiety, the endless to do list and the associated feeling of “pushing through” and the multitasking.

Could it be that our lifestyle choices as women greatly contribute to our lack of health and wellbeing, and may not support the tender and loving woman that we all naturally are?

Women’s Health from Within – Coming back to you

At Yoga & Healing we offer tools and modalities that support women to connect back to their body and live from their essence.  The modalities we offer that can form part of an overall women’s health program include Sacred Esoteric Healing, Yoga, Meditation, Energetic Facial Release, Esoteric Connective Tissue Therapy, Massage and Breast Cancer support programs.  Each program is tailored specifically to the individual woman.

Women’s Health and the Esoteric Breast Massage

The Esoteric Breast Massage is another modality that can be integrated or play a key role in a Women’s health healing program. The Esoteric Breast Massage (EBM) is a specialised women’s health technique that is performed by highly trained, accredited female practitioners, instructed by experienced female trainers. We currently do not offer this modality at Yoga & Healing, but we can refer you to the Gentle Rhythms Clinic in Warrawee. The EBM is founded on the philosophy of self care, a stepping stone to the restoration of a woman’s truly nurturing ways. The EBM supports the development of increased breast and body awareness and encourages a greater responsibility for one’s own health and wellbeing.
