Yoga & Healing Workshop | Sunday 15th Nov Warriewood, Northern Beaches
Morning workshop 9 – 11.30am with Donna Gianniotis
The lead up to Christmas and the holiday season can be a hectic time for many where we get caught up in the “doing”, we lose ourselves and forget our quality of “being”. This workshop is a great one in the lead up to December by learning how to deepen your quality of connection to your body and your being, which you can take with you into the holiday season ahead.
In this workshop we will explore what causes stress and explore the link between Yoga and Healing.
Yoga means “Union” and refers to our natural and harmonious state of being, where we hold a deep quality of presence in all that we do, say and think, moment by moment. Healing is about bringing honesty to all our daily choices, discarding what no longer serves us and making more supportive choices.
This workshop will include
- Discussion on how Yoga & Healing work together so that we can live our lives from a place of connection and harmony
- Learn to de stress
- Gentle movements to strengthen and stretch the body
- Gentle breathing
- Learning to observe the thought patterns that play out in our mind so that we have the opportunity to look at what is there to be healed

About the instructor: Donna Gianniotis has been teaching yoga for over 13 years and has been teaching on the Northern Beaches at Yoga Essentia for the past 4 years. Her classes are a gentle style of yoga that are accessible to all. The classes encourage a deep reconnection to oneself via “the feeling sense”. Her classes work at building strength and flexibility in a way that nurtures and encourages gentleness in the body. The practise works by releasing nervous tension, anxiousness and hardness in the body so you begin to experience true harmony.
